Høgskolen i Nesna, avd. for natur- og realfag

Høgskolen i Nesna har vært på Web siden februar 1995, og var da første institusjon i Nordland med egen webserver, og nummer tre i Nord-Norge, bare “slått” av Universitetet i Tromsø og Høgskolen i Tromsø. Siden den gang har utviklingen gått raskt og i dag står HiNe ved et veiskille. Skal vi gå aktivt i gang med å benytte Web 2.0 i vår virksomhet, eller skal vi holde oss til Moodle? Denne sonen er en del av arbeidet ved Avdeling for Natur- og Realfag med å utforske Web 2.0 som arena og verktøy for undervisning både i Informatikk og ved andre realfagstudier. Her håper vi også å kunne gi ny informasjon til folk flest, og få våre samarbeidspartnere og støttespillere med i aktiv diskusjon innenfor tema som angår natur- og realfag..

International Semester Online

Prof.dr.hab. Maria Czerepaniak-Walczak and Dean Per A. Godejord

Monday the 14th of September, the Dean of Faculty of Scientific Studies at Nesna University College, Per A. Godejord, signed an agreement with Institute of Pedagogy, Szczecin University, for the creation of a pilot project on international course in digital learning environment.

The course ITL/ITB103 will be the corner stone of something the parties involved hope will lead to Polish and Norwegian students studying and working together online within a broader range of online courses related to the field of Educational ICT. If successful it might also lead to the gathering of international students and lecturers on Campus Mo.

The project has the following didactic and research objectives:

To integrate Norwegian students (from Nesna University College) and Polish students (from Szczecin University) to realize a joint e-learning course within the scope of Social Aspects of ICT.
To work towards formulating the foundation for didactics of cross-cultural education in online setting.
To investigate communication behavior of course participants within the patterns of linguistic and non-linguistic modes of communication.
To obtain an insight into the symbolic culture of digital environment with the focus on participatory mechanisms used to provide information and feedback

The theoretical perspective framing the research is Social Constructionism and Symbolic Interactionism .

The Project will be lead by Prof.dr.hab. Maria Czerepaniak-Walczak, Institute of Pedagogy (US) and Senior Lecturer Hallstein Hegerholm, Faculty of Scientific Subjects, (NUC). Researchers will be Elżbieta Perzycka, Ph.D., Beata Godejord, Ph.D. and Geir Borkvik, HL.
